New features
- Import from Google Docs, Notion, and Confluence: create a course straight from a public Google Docs, Notion, or Confluence link, alongside files, URLs, video, and audio.
- Custom-code embeds in the AI Assistant: ask the AI Assistant to build an interactive custom-code embed and watch a live preview render as the code streams in.
- Label AI images and add an AI transparency notice: mark any image as AI-generated with a visible badge, turn on an opt-in AI notice on the cover page, and export machine-readable AI provenance metadata for transparency requirements.
- XLIFF translation import and export (Enterprise plan): export a course as an XLIFF 1.2 file, translate it in a professional tool like Trados, memoQ, or Phrase, then import it back into the same course with a full summary of what was applied.
Bug fixes
- App crash during browser translation: opting out of automatic browser translation stops a crash that could interrupt your work while creating a course.
- AI card edits deleting the wrong card: accepting an AI-suggested structural change now replaces the card cleanly instead of removing your content.
- Code block indentation: code blocks keep their intended indentation in the editor, preview, SCORM, and the embedded player.
- Text styling across multi-block selections: font, color, alignment, and node-type controls stay available when your selection spans more than one block.
- Guest invite links: guests who belong to more than one workspace now land on the invited course after signing in.
- Articulate Rise quiz import: imported Rise quizzes keep their correct answers, explanatory notes, and question media.
- Blank slides when converting decks 1:1: slides that mix a sidebar with a grid no longer fall back to a blank page during 1:1 conversion.
Improvements
- Redesigned sorting activity card: the sorting card is more compact, tappable on touch devices, and easier to rearrange by drag and drop.
- Articulate Rise import out of beta: importing an Articulate Rise course is now generally available.
- Shared courses in your library: courses shared with you now appear in your library, under All Courses and a Shared with me folder.
- Editor performance and reliability: reduced editor render churn and resolved a render loop and a right-to-left layout issue for smoother editing.
